Yellow-collared macaw / Primolius auricollis

These macaws were sighted in the Pantanal area in an orelha de macaco tree (Enterolobium contortisiliquum). They like a wide range of seeds, nuts, Ficus fruit and flower buds.  They nest in tree cavities in open woodland.
